Curaçao - Art week Kaya Kaya

In August 2026, Nági participated in Kaya Kaya Art Week, presenting a collection of new work at Gallery 9 in Curaçao.

The exhibition marked the introduction of Yu'di, a new sculpture inspired by the Papiamentu expression Yu di Kòrsou, meaning “child of Curaçao.” The work reflects on the experiences of those who leave their homeland in search of new opportunities, often with the hope of building a better future for generations to come.

Alongside Yu'di, Isaac Benjamin Job presented a series of new paintings inspired by Curaçao's landscape and the story he wants to convey. Together, the works explored the relationship between where we come from and where life takes us, connecting stories rooted in the island to experiences that extend beyond it.

For Isaac, who was born in Curaçao, the exhibition also marked an opportunity to present this new body of work in the place that inspired much of its development.
